In Case of an Emergency

In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours please call ahead and notify the clinic.  This will allow our staff and veterinarians time to determine if you should bring your cat to Capital Cat Clinic, or if the situation will best be handled at one of the local emergency veterinary clinics in the area.  We make every attempt to see our patients in the event of an emergency.

For after hour emergencies, we advise that you contact the emergency center shown below.  Our Dr's and the Veterinarians at South Paws share a strong line of communication regarding mutual patients.  If at any time you have a question regarding your cat's treatments or visits to the emergency clinic, please feel free to call Capital Cat Clinic.

From Capital Cat Clinic-Take Wilson BLVD. right onto 10th street. Follow 10th street, take a right at Washington BLVD. follow signs to Route 50 towards Fairfax (West). You will travel approx. 8.75 miles crossing over 495 to Javier Road take a right. South Paws criticare is on your right.

From Washington, DC SE Go to I-395 South via the 3rd St SE ramp. Take exit 8A VA-27 (Exit marked for Arlington Cemetery) West to Washington Blvd. Take the US-50 West exit towards Arlington. After approximately 8.5 miles you will go under I-495; at the second light from this intersection, Javier Rd, make a right. Immediately turn left onto Executive Park Ave in front of the BB&T bank. SouthPaws is the first building on your right.

From Washington, DC NW From Key Bridge-Continue onto Fort Myer Dr and bear right onto US-50 West (Arlington Blvd)After approximately 8.5 miles you will go under I-495; at the second light from this intersection, Javier Rd, make a right. Immediately turn left onto Executive Park Ave in front of the BB&T bank. SouthPaws is the first building on your right.

From Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge-Take Constitution Ave over the Memorial Bridge. Bear right onto I-66 to US-50 West (Arlington Blvd)After approximately 8.5 miles you will go under I-495; at the second light from this intersection, Javier Rd, make a right. Immediately turn left onto Executive Park Ave in front of the BB&T bank. SouthPaws is the first building on your right.
