Kristen Sotos, DVM

Dr. Kristen Sotos recently joined the Capital Cat Clinic to pursue her passion for feline care, after honing her pragmatic and compassionate approach to veterinary medicine for the last eight years at a large, active and diverse dog and cat practice in Fairfax. Dr. Sotos came to the Northern Virginia area after receiving both her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Zoology and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida.

Through her college and veterinary school years, Dr. Sotos was known for her care and adoption of stray felines in the Gainesville area, including three geriatric cats which she brought with her to the Virginia area. She supplemented her passion for cats during vet school by working at an all cat practice, knowing her ultimate professional calling would be a practice focused on cats. During her career, Dr. Sotos has developed a special interest in feline behavior and geriatric medicine.

Dr. Sotos enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in McLean with her husband and three young children.
